TechSmart is a newly detected adware found to be able to show various ads on webpages you visit. TechSmart can interrupt your internet surfing and lead to unwanted programs download without your permission. The TechSmart advertisements may have a different text under the pop-up: "Powered by TechSmart", "Brought to you by TechSmart", "RocketTab powered by TechSmart", "Ads by TechSmart" or "Ads powered by TechSmart". Although it claims itself as a program that will improve the way you search on the Internet. Though this may sound like a useful service, the TechSmart program can be intrusive and will display ads whether you want them to or not.

When you notice advertisements underlined by "Ads by TechSmart" in Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, your computer is infected with adware or a virus. As adware is not a real dangerous threat to your computer, it can be very annoying and slows down your computer considerably. These advertisements are often based on keywords found in the content of the website you were visiting. As mentioned is adware not a real threat to your computer, but it can however be very annoying as advertisements are promoted by implanting a ad-block in the middle off the page or slide-in ads from the bottom or right side in your browser.

Clicking in the middle of the page will trigger a pop-up window, redirecting your browser to unwanted advertisements or social engineering scams as Flash Player, Browser or Media Player updates. These fake updates contain more adware, and installing them might cause a high-risk of privacy or identity theft.

Remove TechSmart from the browser
