Remove Webplayer Ads - How to Remove Them Completely from Your PC?

A victim complained about it like these

"I made the mistake of trying to use the web-player (which doesn't work at all for me using the most up-to-date version of Chrome on a Mac with the Chrome app installed... it keeps saying I need to install flash... which I've done... but anyway)...

Ever since trying to use this, it claims all links to spotify and tries to open them in the nonfunctioning web-player. I want them to open in the spotify application, not in the browser. How do I disable this? I've looked everywhere..."
