Trojan.Gen – The Removal Guides You'll Never Want to miss

I used to have Norton Antivirus to safeguard my PC until Trojan.Gen came to my computer. Norton said it blocked the activities of Trojan.Gen, and then I looked up in the system. I couldn't find any change in my CPU, disk, ram usages or any processes that was harmful for my PC. But my PC becomes slower than it should be. Can anyone help?

Description of Trojan.Gen

Trojan.Gen is detected as a new Trojan horse virus which mainly invades user's PC through the installation of some programs.
It can also be dropped by some malicious software. Email attachments, links to instant messages and drive-by download are the ways this Trojan horse may take to sneak into your PC. Once this virus got to your PC, it may camouflage itself to mislead you into running its files. It may pose as legitimate programs or files that you're familiar to and want to use. It mimics the name of the files such as .jpg or .doc files, and then you'll inadvertently run the Trojan. You should not be fooled.

What will this Trojan bring to you?

  • It slows down your PC and your network speed.
  • It takes up the system resources to make your system crash frequently.
  • It opens a backdoor for other threats to invade your PC.
  • It adds itself to your registry entries and your other system files so that it can fully control your PC.
  • It modifies your browser and keeps redirecting you to its own domains for more money.
  • Trojan.Gen divulges your personal information by collecting your information to send to its remote server.
