Step 3: Show hidden files and delete associated files.
Start>>Control Panel>>Appearance and Themes>>Folder Options>>View tab. Tick "Show hidden files and folders" and deselect "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)". Then go to your local disks to delete only the malicious files.
Step 4: Delete all related registry keys and values. (Be cautious during this step.)
Press Windows key+R key to quickly pop up the Run box. Type "regedit" in it and click "OK". Then there comes out the Registry Editor. Find and delete all related registry keys and values.
Step 5: Remove Crimewatch from browsers.
For Internet Explorer
Go to Tools and select Manage Add-ons. In the section of Toolbars and Extensions, find any related add-ons and disable them.
For Google Chrome
For Mozilla Firefox
Step 6: Use RegCure to double check your PC.
